    Employment Advisory Council
    Our mission is to:

    Advise the director in developing or revising program policies and insure impartiality and fairness in the implementation of those policies;

    To promote adequate administrative funding and wide use of agency programs;.

    To assist the director in developing strategies for the solution of workforce problems within the state;

    To assist the director in developing a legislative agenda and gaining approval by the Legislature;

    To promote greater understanding and acceptance of Employment Department programs by the public; and

    And to promote cooperation with other state agencies and organizations concerned with workforce problems.

Notice - Next Advisory Council Meeting
The next meeting of the Oregon Employment Department Advisory Council will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. It will take place at the OED Central Office: 875 Union Street NE, Salem, OR 97311 in the Director's Office Conference Room.

The OED Central Office is a secure building. If you are not a member of the Advisory Council and want to attend the meeting, please call Rebecca at (503) 947-1732 so arrangements can be for your escort to the conference room.
Employment Advisory Council Meeting Notice
The last meeting of the OED Advisory Council was held on March 24, 2010. The next meeting is scheduled for October 20th, 2011.
